The Worcester County Veterans Memorial has joined with the Rotary Club of Ocean City/Berlin to create a display of flags that will fly from Armed Services Day, May 18th, through Independence Day, July 4th. The flags will proudly fly in Veterans Memorial Park, along Route 589, in Ocean Pines. You can be a part of this amazing tribute to our heroes!
You can honor a hero by sponsoring one or more of the flags that will fly. The sponsor’s name and your hero’s name will be identified on each flag. You will be able to walk among the flags and read the names of many heroes. The cost to sponsor a flag is just $50. See the Corporate Flyer for various sponsorship levels. Proceeds from this project will benefit Student’s Educational Outreach projects, community charities and Rotary Scholarship Fund.
The cutoff date to sponsor a flag is May 10th. All orders should be received by then.
Checks should be made payable to: WCVMF/Flags for Heroes and mailed to: WCVMF, P.O. Box 1576, Ocean Pines, MD 21811. Your donation is tax deductible. The Worcester County Veterans Memorial Foundation is a 501c3 organization.
